Grilled Tofu with Okra and Ginger Sauce

Finally the grilling season is here! I love anything grilled, and I have grilled a lot of things, from meat and fish, to vegetables, to fruits! But this was my first attempt to grill tofu! I used the indoor grill for this because I was afraid that the tofu would be too fragile to stay on the outdoor grill. If you like tofu, try this! The grilled flavor on tofu was so wonderful! I absolutely loved it! I served it with fresh okra slices, dried pepper threads, and ginger sauce. This was a perfect lunch for Terry and I. Light and flavorful! The grill marks were beautifully made, too.

ginger sauce: oil ginger, garlic, water, soy sauce, honey, corn starch

グリルの季節になってきましたね～。

グリルするのは大好きなので、これまでにも、肉や魚はもちろん、いろいろな野菜や果物もグリルしたことがありますが、豆腐は今回初挑戦！

ちょっと固めの、日本でいうと木綿豆腐っぽい豆腐を使いました。

グリルも、アウトドアーのものではなく、うちの中でするグリル。

きれいに焼き目がついて、満足！

味も、しっかりグリル独特の風味が出て、美味しかった～。

豆腐グリル、お勧めです！

今回は、オクラの薄切りをたっぷりのせて、さらに、生姜だれをかけました。

生姜だれ：油、生姜、にんにく、水、しょうゆ、蜂蜜、コーンスターチ（とろみづけ）
