Ginger Nectarine Muddler
I’m not much of a drinker. Not because I’ve had a bad experience with alcohol in the past or I don’t like the taste. It’s mostly because my body just can’t handle a large amount of alcohol. When I say a large amount, I mean any more than three sips of wine! If I drink a third of a glass, my face and neck turn red and I’ll start taking off some layers of my clothes (lol). If (and that’s a big if) I finish a whole glass, I will probably pass out. Terry often teases me saying I’m a cheap date, as we don’t spend much on drinks when we eat out. I consider myself a super happy drinker, as I can get drunk and feel good with only a few sips!
I do enjoy sipping good wine, beer, and mixed drinks once in a while. So I tend to drink at home when I drink. Especially in summer I like to experiment making mixed drinks with various fruits and herbs. Here is my first homemade mixed drink this summer. Of course the alcohol content is about 0.2% (lol), but I can make it stronger for others.

The macaroons looked delish as do these cocktails. Do you muddle the nectarines or just place sliced nectarines in each drink?

Thank you, Lori! I was so excited about my first macarons! For this drink I did actually muddle the nectarines, which I think helped give the intense nectarine flavors. I was thinking about using the muddler as a prop for the picture and then I totally forgot about it!
