Hooked on the Twilight Saga…

Okay, it started out with pure curiosity. Our 13-year-old niece was into this series of vampire romance novel when she visited us last summer, and I got interested in finding out what teenagers like to read these days…
I got my copy of Twilight several months ago. I loved the book, which surprised myself. I didn’t think I would enjoy this much the book which obviously targets much younger readers. So that was probably why I hesitated to pick up the next book in the series, New Moon. But when I saw New Moon and Eclipse on sale at Costco last week, I couldn’t resist.
I finished both New Moon and Eclipse in a few days. I can’t wait to find out what is going to happen next. I wonder when they will publish Breaking Dawn in paperback…

吸血鬼ロマンスストーリーに再びはまる。。。

もともとは、１３歳の姪っ子が読んでいるのを見て、近頃の若者（！）はどんな本が好きなのか、という好奇心で手にとったもの。
この吸血鬼ロマンス系の本に実ははまってしまっている。。。
ステファニー・マイヤーという著者のシリーズもの。
一作目の“トワイライト（Twilight）”にかなり衝撃を受け、先日コストコで二作目、三作目の、“ニュームーン（New Moon）”、“エクリプス（Eclipse）”が安く売られているのを見たら、やっぱり買ってしまった。
両方とも５００ページを越す厚さなのに、数日で完読。
とにかく胸きゅんとなるツボが多すぎて困る（苦笑）。
シリーズ最後の、“ブレイキング・ドーン（Breaking Dawn）”は今のところハードカバーのみで発売中。
けちな私はペーパーバックで安く売られるのを待とうと思っているんだけれど、実は結末が知りたくてしょうがない。

あ、映画化したやつですよね？
日本ではトワイライトだけ翻訳されてたかな？
そうかぁ・・・気になるなぁ・・・
今度買って見ようかな？
あ、古本屋にあるかしら？？って私もケチ（笑）
ちなみに日本でも「吸血鬼系」ドラマが放映されてます。
ブームにのかったみたいです。

そうです、映画化されたやつです！
そうなんですよ、トワイライトに続いて、もう三冊続くんです。
今日実はこれをアップした後、やっぱり続きが気になり、ハードカバーで４冊目、買ってしまいました（笑）。
で、今日は読書の午後となりましたよ。
吸血鬼系ドラマ、ですか。
ブームになるの、分かる気がします☆
