  • Reiko

  • I would probably pass on the avocado, but the rest looks awesome! Is the meat made like salmon patties? Patrisha makes some great ones too.

  • Now that’s a burger!!
    yummy
    sweetlife

  • These look terrific! If there a way to convert the bun recipe into English? I’d love to have it. Thanks Reiko.

  • That’s okay. Terry passed on the avocado AND cucumber… Yes, these were like salmon patties. Sounds like you guys continue to eat very healthy!

  • Thanks!!

    Burger Buns (makes 6 buns)

    -300g all purpose flour
    -30g sugar
    -5g salt
    -30g melted butter
-water and one egg combined 195g
    -5g dry yeast

    1. Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and knead well.
    2. Cover with plastic wrap and let it rise until doubled in volume.
    3. Divide dough into six pieces and make six smooth balls. Cover with a towel and let rise until doubled in volume.
    4. Preheat oven to 250C (482F), then lower the temperature to 220C (428F). Bake for 3 minutes at 220C (428F) then lower the temperature to 175C (347F) then bake for eight minutes.

    Enjoy!

  • Thanks for the English translation, I’ll try them soon! I agree, homemade buns are better than most of the standard commercial buns in grocery stores. There is a new French bakery in Maple Grove, maybe we can check it out sometime!

  • Lori:
Yes, I’d love to. A new French bakery sounds great!
