What would you do when you have a mediocre dinner at a restaurant that everyone seems to love?

ものすごく評判のいいレストランでイマイチな食事が出てきたらどうしますか？

Well, we decided to give it another try.

迷った挙句、もう一度再トライしてみることにした私たち。

It’s sad to say but we were disappointed again. We really wanted to like this restaurant as it’s in our neighborhood and We would very much like to support their effort to use organically grown and sustainably raised ingredients. I should note that we liked their atmosphere and the service was great.

残念ながら、今回も満足できなかった私たち。このレストラン、地元オーガニックな材料を使っている方針とか、お店の雰囲気とか、接待なんかはとても良いのですが、料理がイマイチ。うちの近くということもあって、このレストラン好き！、と言いたいのに言えないつらさ（苦笑）。

Well, Terry was not happy with his burger and I was not happy with my pork ribs, so the next day we decided to have a “revenge dinner”. At a different restaurant. Famous Dave’s.

テリーが頼んでイマイチだったのはハンバーガー、私が頼んでイマイチだったのはBBQリブということで、翌日フェイマスデイヴズというBBQ専門のチェーンレストランへリベンジディナーに出かけました。

Well, you can’t really compare this place to the other restaurant, as they are two totally different kinds of restaurant!

お店の雰囲気からして全然前日のレストランとは雰囲気もがらりと変わって庶民的（笑）。

But the food here was awesome! Terry loved his burger and I loved my ribs. I’ve had their ribs so many times, and they are delicious every single time!

でも、味はすっごくいいのです。テリーも私も大満足。私はBBQリブといったらここのが個人的に一番好き。チェーン店ということもあってどの支店を訪れても変わらない美味しさというところも嬉しい。

The only thing I noticed was that they have replaced their red plastic baskets with white plates. I really liked their baskets as they create a fun picnic like atmosphere.

一つ気になったのは、このお店赤いプラスチックのバスケットで出てきた食事が、今回は白いお皿に変わっていたこと。あのバスケットのカジュアルなところが好きだったので、それがちょっと残念と言えば残念でしたね～。
