Monet’s Sweet Potato Rolls

When I saw one of my blog friends, Monet, introducing her Sweet Potato Rolls, I was immediately interested, and I couldn’t wait to try. I followed the recipe and they turned out great! I loved their whole wheat flavor and a hint of sweetness from sweet potato and honey. These were very moist, which was a nice surprise because often times I find whole wheat bread too dry. I guess I was not able to master the dough-shaping process well (I tried!), so my rolls look a bit different from hers. But I still loved how cute they looked. Thank you for sharing the wonderful recipe, Monet! I enjoyed every single roll so much!

いつも暖かいコメントを残してくれるブログ友達のモネのレシピで作ったスイートポテトロールパン。

全粒粉が入っていてしっかり全粒粉の味が味わえるけれど、全粒粉パンにありがちなぱさぱさ感が気にならずしっとりとした仕上がり。
スイートポテトのピュレーと蜂蜜が入っているので、噛みしめる毎に、ほんのりとした甘さが味わえ、噛めば噛むほど味が出る、っていうようなパン。
焼きたてを早速バターと蜂蜜をつけてみたけれど、蜂蜜はいらないかも。

成形がイマイチ彼女のようにできなかったのだけれど（微妙に違うの（苦笑））、これはこれで、見た目がコロンと可愛くって私的には気に入ってしまった。
