Cream Cheese Stuffed Sticky Rice Balls (Raspberry & Chocolate)

We usually stuff this kind of sticky rice balls or “dai-fuku” with black bean paste, but since it is hard to get it here in the US, I decided to use cream cheese instead. Some were stuffed with chocolate and cream cheese mixture and the others were stuffed with raspberry and cream cheese mixture. These were certainly different from the traditional sticky balls but they were delicious! It would be also fun to add some nuts or fresh fruit.

クリームチーズ大福（ラズベリー＆チョコレート）

先日白玉を作ったときに、白玉粉で大福も作れるのよ、とsacchiさんに教えていただいて、早速作ってみた。
いちご大福を作ろう、と思っていたのだけれど、イチゴを買いにいくのも待てず、うちにあったものを詰めて、クリームチーズ大福～！
作ったのは２種類。
一つはチョコレート入り、もう一つはラズベリージャム入り。
大福、おいしかった～。
あんこももちろん大好きだけど、こっちでは日本食料品店でしか買えない貴重品なので、ムリヤリな感じで出来上がったクリームチーズ大福だけれど、なかなか悪くない。
もう少し白玉粉、残っているので、残りもたぶん大福になりそう。
次回は果物やナッツを入れてもいいかも、なんて考えている。
