Green Tea Soba Noodle Cold Soup with Seafood Tempura

Soba noodle is great served in hot soup or cold soup, but this season (it reached 102F in Minnesota yesterday!) cold soba noodle soup is one of my favorite meals. It’s light, refreshing, and satisfying at the same time. This beautiful green tea soba noodle was found at Mitsuwa, a Japanese grocery store, in Chicago. The green tea flavor is subtle but it’s there.

シーフード天ぷらのせ冷たい茶蕎麦
昼食 ２０１１年６月４日
先日シカゴの日本食料品店で見つけたのが、この茶蕎麦。
きれいな緑色に茹で上がった。
暑くなってきたので、冷たいつゆでいただく。
（ミネソタは昨日３７度まで上がった。。。）
シーフード天ぷらはちょっと失敗（衣がはがれた。。。）だったけれど、蕎麦に天ぷら（天かす？（笑））ってやっぱり美味しい。
