Saturday Morning with the Boys

Terry and I got to babysit our nephews this morning. Once the boys got here we first had breakfast together. The boys patiently waited for their pancakes to be ready, and we decided to decorate our pancakes with fruits and sausage to make faces. The boys really liked the fruits and they ate well. Once we finished our breakfast, we read a book “with a monster at the end” on uncle Terry’s ipad, we did some coloring, we built a house, a spaceship, trees, a rocket, and other things with blocks, uncle Terry dressed the boys like monsters(they were too cute to look scary!), and we made and played with paper planes and newspaper poppers. Then we even made a fort in the kitchen and it was fun to sleep inside! We had macaroni and cheese, hot dog, and asparagus for lunch (The boys liked the macaroni and cheese and hot dog but I ended up eating almost all the asparagus. The “green stuff” was not very popular among the boys (lol)). We had so much fun together. Terry and I played so hard with the boys that we had such a great nap this afternoon (lol). Have a great rest of the weekend, everyone!
土曜日の朝甥っ子達をベビーシッターする

今日土曜日の朝８時、お父さんに連れられて双子の甥っ子達がうちにやってきた。
今日は両親が二人とも朝は仕事ということで、８時から１時半までうちでベビーシッターを頼まれていたのだ。
まずは朝食。
パンケーキを焼いたら、あらかじめ用意しておいた果物で顔を作る。
こういうこと、子供とやってみたかった私。
ちなみに上写真は私作、ポップな感じで（笑）（子供達もなかなか上手に作っていた）。
朝食後は遊んで遊んで遊び続ける。。。
アイパッドで絵本を読んだり、ブロックで家やら船なんかを作ったり、紙ひこうきを作って飛ばしたり、甥っ子二人をトイレットペーパーで全身くるんで“モンスター（お化け）”に変身させたり（写真：上：ポーズはなぜか大人しくって全然モンスターらしくない（苦笑））、最後はキッチンにバーチェアーと布団で作った“砦（とりで）”で遊んだり。。。
昼食は大人も子供も大好き、マカロニ・アンド・チーズ。
ソーセージを小さく切ったのとアスパラガスを添えたんだけれど、アスパラガスを食べてたのは私だけ（苦笑）。。。
１時半にお父さんが迎えに来て見送った後、テリーと私、爆睡（昼寝）（笑）。
ハイ、二人とも今日はしっかり遊びました。
