Lunch February 26, 2011
I had heard so much about this restaurant and wanted to try for a while. Terry and I happened to be in the neighborhood this afternoon, and we decided to stop by. I was afraid that they might not be open for lunch but they were, and we went in around 2p.m. for a late lunch. Here are what we ate: figlets, bluecheese tots, oysters, scallops, steak, orange cake, and lemon bar. Everything was great, but I especially liked the figlets, and I’m thinking about re-creating this at home. It was a lot of fun to get to try different things because of their small portion, and their presentation was pretty cool as well. We will definitely go back. I hope they have octopus next time (Actually I was looking forward to it the most, but they were out today…).

近所で見つけた素敵なレストラン

最近雑誌やらインターネットで目にして気になっていたレストラン。
とってもおしゃれな感じなのに、うちの近く（郊外）にあると聞いてびっくり。
今日たまたま近くを通ったこともあって、遅めのランチをすることに。
上のメニューの写真でも分かるように、メニューは、“ポーク”、“チキン”、“トーフ”、といった感じで、とってもシンプル（笑）。
一皿ずつが小さめサイズなので、いろいろな種類をオーダーして楽しめるのがいい。
私達が頼んだのは、フィグレット（ブルーチーズがドライイチジクに詰まったものを生ハムで巻いて焼いたもの）、ブルーチーズ入りコロッケ、生牡蠣、ホタテ、ステーキ、レモンバー、オレンジケーキ。
私が特に気に入ったのが、フィグレット。
甘くってしょっぱい組み合わせ、コレ、絶対ワインのお供に良さそう。
近いうちにぜひうちでも作ってみたいと思った。
