Fried Teeny Tiny Potatoes

Happy President’s Day!
It was a work day for both Terry and I today. We had a big snow storm in Minnesota that started yesterday and lasted most of the day today. I left home early in the morning because I was afraid that the roads would be a mess, and they were…. I got to the office in time, but many of the scheduled appointments were canceled due to the bad weather. I got to get lots of paperwork done, but I should have just taken the whole day off today. This is the kind of day you should just stay home and take it easy.
Here are teeny tiny potatoes that I found at Trader Joe’s. The tag really said “Teeny Tiny Potatoes”! How cute is that?! These are easy to cook and eat. No cutting or peeling required!

先日トレーダージョーズというスーパーで見つけたちっちゃなちっちゃなポテト。
あまりにかわいくって買ってしまった。
まずはシンプルに揚げてみる。
揚げたてに塩をして、さらにハーブ（パセリ、チャイブ）をまぶす。
そのままでも美味しいし、ケチャップをつけてもいける。
一口サイズなので、ぽいぽいっと口に放り込める手軽さ。
私達が暮らすミネソタ州は、ここ数週間暖かい日が続いたこともあって、“春を感じるわ～”、と思っていたのに、昨日またスゴイ雪が降り始め、今日もほぼ一日雪。。。なんだかだまされた気分（苦笑）。
今日月曜日は、プレジデントの日という（いちおう）祝日で、学校や官公庁は休みなのだけれど、普通の企業やお店は仕事のところ多し。
私ももちろん仕事。。。
雪のことがあって、朝はいつもより早めに家を出ないといけなかったり、道路の調子がイマイチで運転に神経を使ったこともあって、なんとも長～い一日となった（疲）。
