Chilled Purple Potato Soup with Red Pepper

When I found a few beautiful purple potatoes in a large bag of potatoes Terry got for me from Costco, I knew I wanted to make soup with them. I thought the purple colored soup would look pretty. Well, it actually turned out to be gray rather than purple, but I though it still looked pretty when pink peppercorns were sprinkled on top.

紫芋の冷たいスープ

先日家族の集まりにまた（夏はよく作るのよ）ポテトサラダを作る機会があって、そのときにテリーにコストコで買ってきてもらったのが大袋入りの小さめなジャガイモたち。
普通のジャガイモ、赤い皮のジャガイモなどに混ざって、紫色をしたジャガイモを発見。
切ってみると、中もきれいな紫色！
どうしてもこの紫芋を使ってスープを作ってみたかった。
なのに、出来上がりは、紫色、というより、グレー？（笑）
生クリームをたらりと落として、ピンクのペッパーコーンを散らしたら、見た目もそれほど悪くない？
