Crab Salad Parfait

I was excited when I saw something I usually don’t see at the grocery store, Aldi. Crab meat at a discount store?! The price was reasonable, and I decided to try. All the crab meat was pressed tightly in the jar, and there was much more in it than I had expected. I mixed the crab meat with mayonnaise and lemon juice to make crab salad. It was delicious as it was, but I decided to be a little playful and serve this in an antique parfait glass along with cucumber and red onion slices.

蟹サラダパフェ

アルディというディスカウントスーパーで、たまたま蟹の身を売っているのを見て、嬉しくなって即購入！
小さい容器だったのだけれど、ぎゅ～っと詰まっていて思ったより入っていたのも◎。
ちょっぴり遊び気分で、蟹サラダ（蟹の身、マヨネーズ、レモン汁）、きゅうり、赤玉ねぎを順々に入れたパフェ風にしてみる。
先日シカゴのアンティーク店で見つけた小さめのパフェグラスに盛って。
（蟹があまりよく見えないのが残念～！でも入ってるのよ～（笑））
たら～っと赤く最後にたらしたのは、ホットソース。
細長いフォークでかき出すのももどかしくあっという間に完食！
