Lemon Poppy Seed Muffins

Last Friday Terry came home from his business trip and said he wanted to eat lemon poppy seed muffins. He always gives me lots of great cooking ideas, but usually it’s not this specific (lol). Here are the lemon poppy seed muffins I made for him the next day. I used this recipe but modified a little bit (substituted buttermilk and lemon juice for lemon flavored yogurt). These are very lemony and the amount of sugar is just perfect. And I always like the texture of poppy seeds.

レモンポピーシードマフィン

先週の金曜日出張から戻ったテリー、一言、“レモンポピーシードマフィンが食べたい”。
ということで、週末に作ったのはレモンポピーシードマフィン（笑）。
こちらのレシピ（英語）を参考にしながら少し変えて作ったもの。
レモン風味のヨーグルトの代わりに、バターミルクとレモン果汁を使って。
レモンの皮がたっぷり生地に入って、その上、焼きたてのところに、レモンシロップをたっぷり塗るので、レモン風味たっぷり。
ぷちぷちのポピーシードも大好き。
