Macaroni &Cheese with Garlic Tomato Sauce

I thought this was pretty good, but I knew it could be better. Terry liked it before it was baked! but not so much after… I put an egg in my macaroni and cheese for the first time, and he didn’t like it very much. Terry will be the chef next time we have mac&cheese.
I heard on the radio that there is a restaurant in the south that makes a terrific macaroni and cheese and they serve it with either gravy or tomato sauce. It sounded really good, and I decided to serve my macaroni and cheese with simple garlic tomato sauce.

マカロニアンドチーズ、アメリカでは人気料理の一つ。
なぜか、コレがなかなか上手く出来ないでいる。。。
悪くないんだけれど、毎回、もっと美味しく出来るはず、と思ってしまう。
テリーも、私のマカロニアンドチーズには合格点をくれていない。。。
今回もオーブンに入れる前につまみ食いをしている時は、“スゴク美味しい”、と言っていたのに、焼けたのは、“イマイチ”だと（笑）。
今回のは私はそう悪くないと思ったけれど、改善点はある、と認めざるを得ない。。。
夫、“次回は自分が作る！”、とのこと。

先日車の中でラジオを聞いていたら。。。
何でも南部に美味しいマカロニアンドチーズを出すレストランがあるらしいんだけれど、そこは、グレイビー（肉汁で作るソース）かトマトソースをかけて出すとのこと。
それが、なんだかとっても美味しそうだったので、今回私も真似て、シンプルに作ったにんにくたっぷりのトマトソースと一緒に食べてみた。
