Old-fashioned Candy Box

This old-fashioned candy box is from a flea market we found by accident a few weeks ago. We think this candy box is for gum balls, but we couldn’t find gum balls small enough to go through the opening on top, so we decided to store jelly beans. This adds colors and fun to our kitchen.

オールドファッションなキャンディーボックスは、数週間前に偶然出くわしたフリーマーケットで見つけたもの。
本当はガムボールを入れるものだと思うんだけれど、ちょうどいい大きさのガムボールが見つからず、ジェリービーンズを入れることに。
カラフルなジェリービーンズで、キッチンの一角がぱっと明るくなった（笑）。
下部の引き出しに穴が空いていて、引き出しを開けると数個ジェリービーンズが落ちてくるしくみ。
これが面白くって、つい食べ過ぎてしまうのが難（苦笑）。
ジェリービーンズ、コストコで買った大きなジャーなんだけれど、なんと４９フレーバー入っているとのこと。
