Strawberry Shortcake with Milk Sauce

A strawberry shortcake made with biscuits, whipped cream, and lots of strawberries. This time I served the cake with strawberry milk sauce, made with condensed milk and fresh strawberries. I love the combination of condensed milk and strawberries. It’s so sweet and tasty.

苺のショートケーキ、ミルクソース添え

日本で売っているようなスポンジケーキの苺ショートケーキももちろんあるんだけれど、こうやって、ビスケットを使って作るバージョンもアメリカではかなり人気。
先日うちで作ったビスケットを使って、私も初めて作ってみた。
要は、ホイップクリームと苺をはさんだら出来上がり。
簡単（笑）。
苺は、砂糖と煮詰めてとろっとさせたものをかけるレシピもあるけれど、今回甘～い苺が手に入ったので、生のまま使いたくって、コンデンスミルクにつぶし入れて作ったソースを添えてやった。
コンデンスミルクと苺の組み合わせって大好き。
あのまろやかな甘～い味になぜかほっとしてしまう。
