Citrus Pancakes with Raspberry Maple Butter

Inspired by the maple butter featured (Clinton St. Baking Company, NY) in the blueberry pancake Throwdown show on the Foodnetwork, I created this raspberry maple butter for my citrus pancakes for breakfast this morning. I made the raspberry maple butter with maple syrup, store-bought raspberry syrup, and butter. I made the citrus pancakes using my usual fluffy pancake recipe and added lots of citrus zest (orange, lemon, and lime). Terry and I both loved this breakfast!

シトラスパンケーキとラズベリーメープルバター

いつものパンケーキに、オレンジ、レモン、ライムの皮をたっぷり入れて。
先日テレビで、メープルシロップを温めたところにバターを入れて（メープルバターと呼んでいた）それをパンケーキにかけて出しているレストランの紹介をやっていて、私も試してみたかったところ。
私はメープルシロップに市販のラズベリーソースも少し入れて、そこにバターを加え、ラズベリーメープルバターにしてみた。
ちょっと苦味のある爽やかなシトラス風味のパンケーキに甘酸っぱいラズベリーメープルバターがなかなか良く合う。
個人的な好みはあると思うけれど、私は絶対メープルバター（シロップも）は温めてからパンケーキにかけるのが好き。
明日はイースターと呼ばれる祝日。
親戚数人を呼んでうちで一緒に食事をする予定。
食べ物は持ち寄りなんだけれど、私はハムとポテト、サラダの担当で、しかもハムにかけて焼くグレーズとポテトサラダは初めてのレシピに挑戦するつもり。
