Fried Green Beans

I was disappointed because I was cheering for the Cardinals… They played well towards the end, but they should have been a little more aggressive in the first half of the game, if you ask me. Oh well, it was a good game. It was fun to watch from the beginning to the end.
I made these fried green beans for our Super Bowl get together last night. I used beer batter and it seemed to make a nice light crunchy texture. I made two kinds of dipping sauce, wasabi ranch and chipotle mayo. I made wasabi ranch dipping sauce, trying to recreate the one I had had at the T.G.I.Fridays restaurant a few weeks ago.
Wasabi ranch dipping sauce: ranch dressing, mayonnaise, horseradish, wasabi(paste), grated garlic, green onion, lemon juice, sugar, salt, pepper
Chipotle mayo sauce: mayonnaise, chipotle sauce, hot sauce, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, paprika, parsley

いんげんのビール入り衣フライとディップ２種

昨夜のスーパーボウル（フットボールの試合）は、私の応援していたアリゾナカーディナルズは負け。。。
最後の方は接戦となったので、もしかしたら、と思ってしまっただけに、負けはつらかった。
賭けをしていたので、夫に夕食をおごることになってしまったしね（笑）。
そんな昨夜は友人数人だけを呼んで一緒に試合をテレビで観戦。
冷凍もののピザ、友人が持ってきてくれたサンドイッチ（スロッピージョーズ）、ポテトチップス、チップスとサルサ、といったようなフットボール観戦典型的スナック、といった感じの食べ物ばかり。
一応作ったもの、といったら、コレ。
いんげんのフライ。
衣にビールを入れたものをつけて。
ビールが入るせいか、軽くさくさくっと出来上がるのが美味しい。
ディップはわさび味とチポートレ味の二種。
わさび味のは、先日Ｔ.Ｇ.Ｉ.Ｆｒｉｄａｙｓというレストランで食べたものを真似して作ったもの。
わさび味ディップ：ランチドレッシング、マヨネーズ、ホースラデイッシュ（瓶入り）、わさび、レモン汁、おろしにんにく、グリーンオニオン（細いねぎのようなもの）、砂糖、塩、こしょう
チポートレ味：マヨネーズ、チポートレソース（市販）、レモン汁、ホットソース、ウオーセスターシャーソース、パセリ、パプリカ、塩、こしょう
