Stracoto with Porcini Mushrooms
Dinner January 25, 2009
Terry’s dad and his wife joined us for dinner last Sunday. I made a beef roast using this recipe. I have made this many times, and it always turns out great. After dinner, we watched the movie “The Duchess”. It was based on a true story, and quite interesting as you get to learn about the life of a duchess in England in the 1700’s. George and Sharon, thank you for coming. We had a wonderful time. We should do it again soon.

牛肉とポルチーニマッシュルームグレイビー

日曜日の夕食に義父と奥様をうちに招待。
実は、クリスマスのギフトとして、テリーと私から、夕食＆映画の招待状を渡してあって、それを使って、ということで。
うちは夫が長年かけて作ったホームシアターがあって、この招待状、家族の間でなかなか好評。
最近はクリスマスや誕生日なんかには、活躍している。
今回夕食に作ったのは、コレ。
これは何度も作ったことがあるお気に入りのレシピ。
失敗無くいつも美味しくできるのが嬉しい。
肉はほろほろとなって、ナイフ入らずの柔らかさ、ポルチーニとローズマリーの味がしっかりしみたグレイビー（ソース）も最高。
義父夫婦にも喜んでもらって、ほっ。
あとは、ベイクドパスタとサラダでシンプルに。
夕食の後、彼らのリクエストで借りてきたＤＶＤは、コチラ。
ドレスが素敵～！、と変なところに目がいったりしたりもしたけれど、実話に基づいて、ということを考えながら観るとなかなか楽しめる映画だと思う。
