Black Bean Burger and Kale Quiche
June 10, 2012
Terry and I got interested when we saw frozen black bean burgers sold at Costco the otehr day, and we decided to give it a try. These burgers have a strong chipotle flavor and we really liked it. It became one of Terry’s favorite quick meals; they are fully cooked so you just need to heat it up in the microwave oven for a minute or so. I love meat, particularly beef, but with this burger I don’t miss the beef. Anyway, last weekend I wanted to add some flavor to my quiche and I decided to try using this black bean burger as a kind of substitute for sausage. I LOVED this quiche! Very flavorful and satisfying.
