Swedish Meatballs<\/strong>
\nDinner December 4, 2009<\/em><\/p>\n

It’s not Ikea. These were homemade Swedish meatballs. This was probably the best Swedish meatballs I’ve ever tasted, if I may say so myself (lol). I used ground pork and beef, half and half, and I also added chopped onion, eggs, and bread crumb to make the meatballs. The sauce was made from the juice left in the pan from cooking meatballs. A little flour was added and cooked for a few minutes, and then beef broth and heavy cream were added and thickened. Salt and pepper. Of course, I served this with Lingonberry preserves. <\/p>\n
