Apple and Cranberry Coleslaw & Pork Sandwich<\/strong>
\nLunch November 8, 2009<\/em><\/p>\n

Terry doesn’t like mayo-based salad very much, so I usually make our coleslaw without mayonnaise. I added apple and dry cranberry to shredded cabbage and carrot. Dressing was made with apple cider, salad oil, sugar, salt, and pepper. This coleslaw was very good, but I’ll add some type of onion next time, such as green onion or red onion.<\/p>\n

For lunch I added some mayonnaise to this coleslaw and used it to make BBQ pork sandwich. Pork was braised with garlic, onion, and apple cider last night. It was mixed with BBQ sauce and placed on top of the coleslaw. Of course this sandwich was just for me. For Terry, I cooked salmon and served it with the coleslaw without mayo. <\/p>\n
