<\/a><\/p>\nMiyako, Gero Onsen (hot spring), Gifu, Japan We stayed at this beautiful onsen-ryokan (inn with hot spring baths) in Gifu, Japan. This ryokan was called Miyako, and they had four separate guest houses in addition to rooms in their main building. Terry and I stayed at one of their guest houses. The house was decorated beautifully with unique antiques, which reflects the owner’s great sense of interior design.<\/p>\n \u4eca\u56de\u306e\u65e5\u672c\u5e30\u56fd\u4e2d\u3001\u6e29\u6cc9\u306b\u884c\u304f\u6a5f\u4f1a\u306f\u3001\u4e09\u91cd\u770c\u306e\u9ce5\u7fbd\u3068\u5c90\u961c\u770c\u306e\u4e0b\u5442\u6e29\u6cc9\u3001\u3068\u4e8c\u5ea6\u3002\u3000\u4eca\u56de\u7d39\u4ecb\u3059\u308b\u306e\u306f\u4e0b\u5442\u6e29\u6cc9\u3067\u6ede\u5728\u3057\u305f\u307f\u3084\u3053\u3068\u3044\u3046\u65c5\u9928\u3002\u3053\u3061\u3089\u306f\u672c\u9928\u306e\u90e8\u5c4b\u306b\u52a0\u3048\u3066\u3001\u96e2\u308c\u306e\u5ba2\u5ba4\u304c\uff14\u90e8\u5c4b\u3042\u3063\u3066\u3001\u4eca\u56de\u30c6\u30ea\u30fc\u3068\u79c1\u306f\u3001\u201c\u96e8\u97f3\uff08\u4e0b\u5199\u771f\uff09\u201d\u3068\u547c\u3070\u308c\u308b\u3053\u3061\u3089\u306e\u96e2\u308c\u306b\u6ede\u5728\u3002\u30aa\u30fc\u30ca\u30fc\u306e\u30bb\u30f3\u30b9\u306e\u3088\u3055\u304c\u3042\u3075\u308c\u308b\u30a4\u30f3\u30c6\u30ea\u30a2\u306f\u4e00\u898b\u306e\u4fa1\u5024\u30a2\u30ea\u3002\u79c1\u9054\u306e\u90e8\u5c4b\u306f\u3069\u3061\u3089\u304b\u3068\u3044\u3046\u3068\u3001\u30a2\u30b8\u30a2\u30f3\u306a\u30c6\u30a4\u30b9\u30c8\u304c\u53cd\u6620\u3055\u308c\u3066\u3044\u3066\u3001\u3061\u3087\u3063\u3068\u3057\u305f\u904a\u3073\u5fc3\u3092\u611f\u3058\u3089\u308c\u308b\u3002\u30c6\u30ea\u30fc\u304b\u3089\u306f\u3001\u201c\u30d3\u30e5\u30fc\u30c6\u30a3\u30d5\u30eb\uff01\u201d\u3001\u201c\u30ed\u30de\u30f3\u30c1\u30c3\u30af\uff01\u201d\u306e\u8a00\u8449\u304c\u5c3d\u304d\u305a\u3002\u3002\u3002<\/p>\n These are some of the photos (below) taken in their main building. When we arrived at the inn, we were escorted to the spacious lobby, and we enjoyed a cup of green tea and sweets. They have a wide selection of yukata (Japanese bathrobe\/pajama) and guests can pick one they like and wear it inside the inn. They also had a beautiful library and reading area.<\/p>\n \u672c\u9928\uff08\u4e0b\u5199\u771f\uff09\u306f\u3053\u3093\u306a\u611f\u3058\u3002 Terry and I, of course, enjoyed taking their hot spring bath. In this inn they had one large bath, four small baths (needs reservation), and separate guest houses had their own private outdoor bath in addition to a regular bathroom inside the house.<\/p>\n \u305d\u3057\u3066\u3001\u304a\u697d\u3057\u307f\u306f\u3082\u3061\u308d\u3093\u6e29\u6cc9\uff01\u3053\u306e\u65c5\u9928\u306f\u3001\u5c4b\u5916\u5927\u9732\u5929\u98a8\u5442\u306e\u4ed6\u306b\u3001\u8cb8\u5207\u304c\u51fa\u6765\u308b\u3053\u3058\u3093\u307e\u308a\u3068\u3057\u305f\u9732\u5929\u98a8\u5442\u304c\u56db\u3064\uff08\u4e8c\u3064\u76ee\u306e\u5199\u771f\u304c\u305d\u306e\u4e00\u3064\uff09\u3001\u305d\u3057\u3066\u3001\u79c1\u9054\u304c\u6cca\u307e\u3063\u305f\u96e2\u308c\u306b\u3082\u30d7\u30e9\u30a4\u30d9\u30fc\u30c8\u306a\u5c4b\u5916\u9732\u5929\u98a8\u5442\u4ed8\u304d\uff08\u4e09\u756a\u76ee\u306e\u5199\u771f\uff09\u3002<\/p>\n I wish I had a funny story to share about our first onsen (hot spring) experience together. But actually Terry adjusted well and quickly to all the Japanese traditional manners, and I don’t think he had any embarrassing or silly moments, unfortunately ;), and fortunately \ud83d\ude42 He did have a little problem at the other onsen (hot spring) we went to. When he went to the public bath, he saw others go through a door to an outdoor bath. When he, too, tried to go, he could not open the door. He tried to push and pull, but it didn’t open. Later he found that he had to slide it to the side!
