picture, right out of the oven.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-46709 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.culinarytribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/14.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"512\" height=\"365\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.culinarytribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/14.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.culinarytribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/14-450x322.jpg 450w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 512px) 100vw, 512px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Whenever I make glaze like this, I&#8217;m sort of horrified by the amount of sugar that goes into it.<\/p>\n<p>But sometimes you just have to do what you have to do, right?<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-46710 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.culinarytribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/18-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"510\" height=\"717\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.culinarytribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/18-1.jpg 547w, https:\/\/www.culinarytribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/18-1-321x450.jpg 321w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 510px) 100vw, 510px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>So happy with the result.<\/p>\n<p>This was great with coffee.<\/p>\n<p>Any cinnamon rolls should be served with a cup of black coffee in my opinion.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-46711 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.culinarytribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/22.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"512\" height=\"365\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Here is a close-up picture.<\/p>\n<p>Can you tell how soft and moist the inside is?<\/p>\n<p>And there are no eggs or butter in these rolls.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-46712 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.culinarytribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/23.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"510\" height=\"717\" \/><\/p>\n<p>After I enjoyed my first roll, I decided to do something I was originally thinking of doing (but then I changed my mind later): sprinkling mint leaves.<\/p>\n<p>I love the combination of carrot, orange, cinnamon, and mint.<\/p>\n<p>So I was dying to try it, but then I got scared, because you never see anything green on top of cinnamon rolls.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-46713 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.culinarytribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/26.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"510\" height=\"717\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.culinarytribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/26.jpg 547w, https:\/\/www.culinarytribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/26-321x450.jpg 321w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 510px) 100vw, 510px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Well, I&#8217;m glad I did.<\/p>\n<p>They looked even more fabulous with the green color!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-46715 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.culinarytribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/30.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"510\" height=\"717\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.culinarytribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/30.jpg 547w, https:\/\/www.culinarytribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/30-321x450.jpg 321w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 510px) 100vw, 510px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The mint was so refreshing and made the rolls taste even better.<\/p>\n<p>This turned out of be absolutely perfect for breakfast!<\/p>\n<div id=\"recipe\">\n<p>Sunshine Cinnamon Rolls (makes 12 rolls)<\/p>\n<p>Rolls:<br \/>\n3\/4 cup carrot pureed lukewarm water: pureed 2 small carrot combined with lukewarm water<br \/>\n1 tablespoon granulated yeast<br \/>\n1\/2 tablespoon Kosher salt<br \/>\n2 tablespoons flaxseed meal plus 4 tablespoons water<br \/>\n1\/4 cup maple syrup<br \/>\n1\/4 cup canola oil<br \/>\nzest from 1 orange<br \/>\n3 cup all-purpose flour<\/p>\n<p>Filling:<br \/>\n1\/4 cup sugar<br \/>\n1\/2 tablespoon cinnamon<br \/>\n1\/4~1\/3 cup dried cranberries<\/p>\n<p>Icing:<br \/>\n3\/4 to 1 cup confectioner&#8217;s sugar<br \/>\n1 to 2 tablespoons oat milk<br \/>\nzest from 1 orange<br \/>\nsplash of fresh lemon juice<\/p>\n<p>fresh mint leaves, chopped<\/p>\n<p>1. Make dough for rolls. Combine all the ingredients in a tall container. Mix well with a wooden spoon and wet hands. Cover with a lid (not airtight) and let it rise for about 2 hours, or until it is double in size. Refrigerate overnight.<br \/>\n2. Make filling. Combine sugar and cinnamon.<br \/>\n3. Roll out the dough to make a 1\/8-inch thick rectangule.<br \/>\n4. Spread the cinnamon sugar and dry cranberries. Roll tightly.<br \/>\n5. Cut into 12 pieces. Place them in a greased quarter sheet pan.<br \/>\n6. Loosely cover with a plastic wrap and allow them rise for about 40 to 50 minutes.<br \/>\n7. Preheat oven to 350F.<br \/>\n8. Take the plastic wrap off. Bake for about 30 minutes, or they are lightly browned.<br \/>\n9. Let them cool.<br \/>\n10. Make icing. Combine well all the ingredients. Drizzle it over the rolls.
