(max-width: 510px) 100vw, 510px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I like noodles and I make pasta a lot, but lasagna is a different story.<\/p>\n<p>For some reason, it&#8217;s something I only make for a special occasion.<\/p>\n<p>Well, for one thing, it includes multiple steps, a lot more than a simple pasta dish.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-45696 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.culinarytribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/23-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"510\" height=\"717\" \/><\/p>\n<p>So I made lasagna for dinner, but of course it took longer than I expected, and it was too dark for me to take pictures when it was finally ready.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-45697 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.culinarytribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/26-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"510\" height=\"717\" \/><\/p>\n<p>So the pictures had to be wait until the next morning.<\/p>\n<p>With a few pieces missing (lol).<\/p>\n<p>But actually the lasagna tastes better the next day, if you ask me. <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full width=\"510\" height=\"717\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This is one of my favorite retro plates.<\/p>\n<p>I like the color and the design, but I like to use this plate for blog pictures because of its unique size, that we had dinner at in Door County, WI, a few years ago.<\/p>\n<p>The food was not that memorable unfortunately, but I loved these glasses, and luckily I was able to buy them at their little souvenir shop.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-45703 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.culinarytribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/43-3.jpg\" drinking wine.<\/p>\n<p>For some reason we hardly ever use an actual wine glass with a long stem.<\/p>\n<p>Oh, I know why &#8220;I&#8221; stay away from those glasses; I&#8217;m always afraid that Lasagna<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>red sauce<br \/>\n-olive oil<br \/>\n-5 cloves garlic, chopped<br \/>\n-1 onion, chopped<br \/>\n-2 cans tomato sauce<br \/>\n-2 cans tomato paste<br \/>\n-1 large can crushed tomatoes<br \/>\n-sugar<br \/>\n-2 bay leaves<br \/>\n-Italian seasoning<br \/>\n-onion powder<br \/>\n-salt and pepper<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.culinarytribune.com\/?p=45424&#038;lang=en\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">homemade vegan cheese<\/a> x 2<\/p>\n<p>olive oil<br \/>\n3~4 cups chopped mushrooms<br \/>\n1 large bag spinach<br \/>\nsalt and pepper<\/p>\n<p>no boil lasagna noodles<\/p>\n<p>chopped fresh basil<\/p>\n<p>1. Make red sauce. Sautee garlic and onion in olive oil. Add the rest of the ingredients. Boil and then simmer.<br \/>\n2. Make vegan &#8220;cheese&#8221;.<br \/>\n3. Sautee mushrooms and spinach in olive oil. Salt and pepper.<br \/>\n4. Preheat oven to 475F.<br \/>\n5. Assemble in a 13&#215;9 lasagna pan. A little red sauce at the bottom, lasagna sheets (1\/3), red sauce, mushrooms, spinach, &#8220;cheese&#8221;, lasagna sheets (1\/3), red sauce, mushrooms, spinach, &#8220;cheese&#8221;, lasagna sheets (1\/3), red sauce, cheese.<br \/>\n6. Cover and bake for about 1 hour (or follow the instructions on the lasagna box; mine said 45 minutes, but it needed to cook a bit longer for the lasagna noodles to be fully cooked). Uncover and cook for another 15 minutes.<br \/>\n7.
