{"id":42689,"date":"2017-01-29T19:18:23","date_gmt":"2017-01-30T00:18:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.culinarytribune.com\/?p=42689"},"modified":"2017-01-29T19:18:23","modified_gmt":"2017-01-30T00:18:23","slug":"baked-mushroom-wraps%e3%83%9b%e3%83%83%e3%83%88%e3%83%a9%e3%83%83%e3%83%97%e3%82%b5%e3%83%b3%e3%83%89","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.culinarytribune.com\/?p=42689&lang=en","title":{"rendered":"Baked Mushroom Wraps<br>\u30db\u30c3\u30c8\u30e9\u30c3\u30d7\u30b5\u30f3\u30c9"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-42690 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.culinarytribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/23-2.jpg\" alt=\"23\" width=\"510\" height=\"717\" \/><\/p>\n<p>When we had a potluck lunch at work a few weeks ago, someone brought hot wraps and they were so good.<\/p>\n<p>There was no meat in the filling but a lot of cabbage and I really liked the idea.<\/p>\n<p>So here is my version of hot vegetable wraps.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-42691 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.culinarytribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/19-3.jpg\" alt=\"19\" width=\"568\" height=\"428\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The filling is made with cabbage, mushrooms, and fried onion folded in my secret (I guess not so secret because I share my recipe below!) cream sauce.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-42692 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.culinarytribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/20-5.jpg\" alt=\"20\" width=\"510\" height=\"717\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.culinarytribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/20-5.jpg 547w, https:\/\/www.culinarytribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/20-5-321x450.jpg 321w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 510px) 100vw, 510px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I was going to completely wrap the filling, but I was afraid of tearing the tortillas, so I simply folded and closed it with a toothpick.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-42693 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.culinarytribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/27.jpg\" alt=\"27\" width=\"510\" height=\"717\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.culinarytribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/27.jpg 547w, https:\/\/www.culinarytribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/27-321x450.jpg 321w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 510px) 100vw, 510px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-42694 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.culinarytribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/29-1.jpg\" alt=\"29\" width=\"510\" height=\"717\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.culinarytribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/29-1.jpg 547w, https:\/\/www.culinarytribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/29-1-321x450.jpg 321w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 510px) 100vw, 510px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Great for lunch, snack for kids, late night snack for adults or of course for a lunch party.<\/p>\n<p>I am freezing several today.<\/p>\n<p>I hope they will taste just as good as they are now when re-heated.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Baked Mushroom Wraps <\/strong> &#8211; makes about 5 wraps<\/p>\n<p>filling<br \/>\n&#8211; canola oil<br \/>\n&#8211; 2 cups mushrooms, sliced<br \/>\n&#8211; 1\/4 cabbage, thinly sliced<br \/>\n&#8211; salt and pepper<br \/>\n&#8211; paprika<br \/>\n&#8211; 1~2 tablespoons Japanese worcestershire sauce<br \/>\n&#8211; 1\/2~1 tablespoon sugar<br \/>\n&#8211; 2 cups soy milk<br \/>\n&#8211; corn starch + water, for thickening<br \/>\n&#8211; 1\/2~1 cup fried onion<br \/>\nwhole wheat tortilla wraps<br \/>\ncanola oil<\/p>\n<p>1. Make filling. Sautee mushrooms and then cabbage. Salt and pepper.<br \/>\n2. Add paprika, Japanese worcestershire sauce, sugar, and soy milk. Boil and then turn down to low heat.<br \/>\n3. Add a mixture of corn starch and water and stir until it achieves the preferred thickness.<br \/>\n4. Add fried onion.<br \/>\n5. Wrap the filling in tortilla wraps. Close them with toothpicks. Brush oil on wraps.<br \/>\n6.
