{"id":41470,"date":"2016-08-09T21:00:45","date_gmt":"2016-08-10T01:00:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.culinarytribune.com\/?p=41470"},"modified":"2016-08-09T21:00:45","modified_gmt":"2016-08-10T01:00:45","slug":"big-salad%e3%81%8a%e3%81%a3%e3%81%8d%e3%81%84%e3%82%b5%e3%83%a9%e3%83%80","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.culinarytribune.com\/?p=41470&lang=en","title":{"rendered":"Big Salad<br>\u304a\u3063\u304d\u3044\u30b5\u30e9\u30c0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-41471 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.culinarytribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/26-1.jpg\" alt=\"26\" width=\"510\" height=\"717\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.culinarytribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/26-1.jpg 638w, https:\/\/www.culinarytribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/26-1-320x450.jpg 320w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 510px) 100vw, 510px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I hesitated to post this one, because it&#8217;s a salad and there isn&#8217;t anything super special about it.<\/p>\n<p>But I decided to go ahead and post it because I think people will have a good idea of what we eat a lot on a daily basis.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-41472 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.culinarytribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/22.jpg\" alt=\"22\" width=\"510\" height=\"717\" \/><\/p>\n<p>You&#8217;ll find this type (and size) of salad at our dinner table often.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-41473 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.culinarytribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/30-1.jpg\" alt=\"30\" width=\"510\" height=\"717\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I make all the dressing we consume at home.<\/p>\n<p>Once in a while we buy a bottle of dressing just because Terry wants to keep one just in case he is home alone and there is no homemade dressing ready in the fridge.<\/p>\n<p>But almost always we end up throwing it away with more than half full because we simply do not use it.<\/p>\n<p>I tell everyone all the time, but everyone should make their own dressing because it&#8217;s easy, cheap, and it simply tastes better than store-bought ones.<\/p>\n<p>This is my recent favorite thing to eat my salad with, and I shouldn&#8217;t even probably call it dressing.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s a mixture of olive salad (from Costco) and olive oil.<\/p>\n<p>I just drizzle this over my salad and sprinkle some salt.<\/p>\n<p>Simply delicious!!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-41474 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.culinarytribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/24.jpg\" alt=\"24\" width=\"596\" height=\"428\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In the beginning of this post I said there is nothing special about this salad, yet, it&#8217;s so hard to find a salad like this at restaurants.<\/p>\n<p>Often times, restaurant salads are too leafy and they do not have much substance. Serve all the vegetables with a mixture of olive salad and olive oil.
