I love living in the city, but I enjoy visiting the country side.<\/p>\n

There are so many beautiful towns in Minnesota, and today we decided to visit Jordan, which is about a 45 minute drive from St. Paul.<\/p>\n

We started with Broadway street, because we found a church on this street and there is usually a main street or the center of the town where church is.<\/p>\n

And we found our first stop, Carasim Coffee Shop.<\/p>\n

\"16\"<\/p>\n

It’s an old-fashioned coffee shop\/diner owned by a couple, who were behind the counter today.<\/p>\n

I had coffee, and Terry had tea and Kemps raspberry chocolate ice cream.<\/p>\n

Good coffee.<\/p>\n

We walked around the downtown, which is quite small, where you’ll find several antique shops and other businesses.<\/p>\n

I found this small house? which had a sign that said “GRAMPA’S HIDEOUT”.<\/p>\n

This, Feed Mill Restaurant, was on our list, too, but we were a little late to get there.<\/p>\n

They are only open until 2 p.m.<\/p>\n

This was also on our list, but it just appeared in front of us when we were strolling.<\/p>\n

This old-fashioned baseball stadium certainly fits perfectly well in this quiet town and gives you the nostalgic feel.<\/p>\n

We then drove to Lagoon Park nearby (everything is so closely located) to see the falls.<\/p>\n

Small but pretty.<\/p>\n

And we were off to the last destination before we left Jordan, Minnesota’s Largest Candy Store!<\/p>\n

This large yellow building is hard to miss.<\/p>\n

This place is quite impressive.<\/p>\n

Much larger than I expected!<\/p>\n

You can find everything, from your childhood favorites to new comers, from locally made pies to European and Japanese candies.<\/p>\n

Hello, Hello Kitty.<\/p>\n

We spent a few hours in this town, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Loved the country feel, and the people were very nice and friendly.<\/p>\n

It was such a beautiful Summer day in Minnesota today.<\/p>\n

Can’t wait to explore more small towns this summer.<\/p>\n
