sushi restaurant in our neighborhood.<\/p>\n<p>We got there and there were several tables open, but we were told that they could not seat us because we didn&#8217;t have a reservation.<\/p>\n<p>We were so disappointed and left feeling defeated and HUNGRY.<\/p>\n<p>We had our mind set on sushi, and we decided to call <a href=\"http:\/\/www.obento-ya.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Obento-Ya<\/a> to see if they had any tables open.<\/p>\n<p>They said they did.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-40546 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.culinarytribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/29.jpg\" alt=\"29\" width=\"596\" height=\"428\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;ve been to this restaurant before and I remembered that the back patio.<\/p>\n<p>It was pretty and private.<\/p>\n<p>When we got there there was another couple, but they were just about to leave.<\/p>\n<p>So we had the whole patio to ourselves the whole src=\"https:\/\/www.culinarytribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/21.jpg\" alt=\"21\" width=\"510\" height=\"717\" \/><\/p>\n<p>You probably guessed.<\/p>\n<p>Yep, Terry likes Asahi beer.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-40551 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.culinarytribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/28.jpg\" alt=\"28\" width=\"596\" height=\"428\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I had nigiri sushi, salmon and squid.<\/p>\n<p>The fish pieces were generous and great quality.<\/p>\n<p>They were both absolutely DELICIOUS!!<\/p>\n<p>They do not have individual nigiri sushi on the menu, but they will make them for you if you ask.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-40552 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.culinarytribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/25.jpg\" alt=\"25\" width=\"596\" height=\"428\" \/><br \/>\nTerry and I both had Chanpon Ramen, which I had had last time, too.<\/p>\n<p>It comes with a lot of vegetables along with squid and pork.<\/p>\n<p>The broth is so flavorful!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-40553 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.culinarytribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/27.jpg\" alt=\"27\" width=\"510\" height=\"717\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.culinarytribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/27.jpg 638w, https:\/\/www.culinarytribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/27-320x450.jpg 320w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 510px) 100vw, 510px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We liked their thicker type of noodles, too.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-40554 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.culinarytribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/30.jpg\" alt=\"30\" width=\"510\" height=\"717\" \/><\/p>\n<p>A wonderful place!<\/p>\n<p>I was almost glad that we couldn&#8217;t get in the other restaurant.<\/p>\n<p>I will definitely come back to Obento-Ya, hopefully soon, and\u00a0order the same exact things as they were so good!<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m on <a
