{"id":39408,"date":"2016-03-22T11:46:34","date_gmt":"2016-03-22T15:46:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.culinarytribune.com\/?p=39408"},"modified":"2016-03-24T16:45:25","modified_gmt":"2016-03-24T20:45:25","slug":"curried-cheddar-bread","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.culinarytribune.com\/?p=39408&lang=en","title":{"rendered":"Curried Cheddar Bread \u30ab\u30ec\u30fc\u30c1\u30fc\u30ba\u30d1\u30f3"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.culinarytribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/412.jpg\" rel=\"lightbox[39408]\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-39409 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.culinarytribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/412.jpg\" alt=\"41\" width=\"597\" height=\"428\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Curried Cheddar Bread<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We were invited to our friend couple&#8217;s house for dinner last weekend.<\/p>\n<p>I wanted to bring homemade bread because the husband loves bread.<\/p>\n<p>The problem was that I knew he likes bread, but I didn&#8217;t know what kind of bread he likes.<\/p>\n<p>I was originally thinking of making curried cheddar bread, but then I got nervous thinking that he might not like the curry flavor.<\/p>\n<p>So at the last minute I decided to make two different kinds, a curried bread with cheddar version for us, and a plain version with cheddar for them.<\/p>\n<p>The one you see in this post is the curried version.<\/p>\n<p>We actually ended up bringing the both loaves, and our friend liked the curried one, too.<\/p>\n<p>I know I sometimes overthink, but if I make something for someone, I really want the person to like it. Put warm water in a large container.<br \/>\n2. Add yeast, salt, and curry powder, and mix well.<br \/>\n3. Add flour and mix well with a wooden spoon.<br \/>\n4. Cover with a lid (not airtight) and let it rise in a container until it&#8217;s double in size, for about two hours.<br \/>\n5. Refrigerate overnight.<br \/>\n6. Form two balls. Roll out. Place cheese cubes. Roll them in and to form logs. Let them rise for 40 minutes.<br \/>\n7. Preheat oven with a pizza stone and a broiler pan inside to 450 F twenty minutes before baking.<br \/>\n8. Slash a line in the middle of the top with a sharp knife. Sprinkle shredded cheese and black pepper. Put the loaves on the pizza stone. Put a cup of hot water into the broiler pan.<br \/>\n9.
