I have tried ramen at several different restaurants in the Twin Cities, and I have to say my favorite place has been Unideli<\/a>\u00a0inside the Asian market, United Noodles. The past few days I’ve been having craving for good ramen and I was planning to go to Unideli. Unfortunately the timing was never right. You want to avoid the lunch rush hour because there is always a long line (AND reportedly they have been lately featured in Diners Drive-Ins and Dives<\/a>), and they are only open between 11 and 6), and we decided to try a new restaurant, Obento-Ya<\/a>.<\/p>\n

One of the best squid sushi I’ve ever had! The squid was fresh, tender, sweet, and delicious!!<\/p>\n

My Champon Ramen. Very tasty. It needed a little salt. Once I added a few drops of soy sauce, it was perfect! The noodle was perfectly cooked, and it comes with a lot of vegetables as well as pork and squid. The blackened garlic oil gives the soup a great flavor, too.<\/p>\n

Terry’s Karata-Tantan Ramen. The soup was weak for me. It lacked depth of flavor.<\/p>\n

Overall, however, we were happy with our meal. We’ll definitely go back!<\/p>\n
