I had been interested in visiting Savanna for a while, and when Terry found inexpensive flight tickets we quickly decided to take a weekend trip there.<\/p>\n

I took a lot of pictures, but today I want to talk about food. This is probably one of the best known restaurants in Savannah, The Lady and Sons<\/a>, owned by Ms. Paula Deen. I had a mixed feeling about going to this restaurant, but we were hungry, we were hungry for southern food, and when we were ready to eat, the restaurant was right in front of us.<\/p>\n

I really enjoyed the traditional Southern food, but the following day I wanted something very different. When I found this “farm-to-table” restaurant on Yelp, I became super excited. I was ready for something fresh, and I thought it was perfect. We headed to The Collins Quarter<\/a> for brunch.<\/p>\n

And I don’t think I can end this post without talking about this. Pecan pralines. I know this is not the healthiest snack, but it was absolutely delicious! I think we ate one as a late night snack almost every night while we were there!<\/p>\n
