A few days ago Terry’s brother and his wife invited us for a pizza dinner to celebrate their birthdays.<\/p>\n
We never say “no” to homemade pizza!<\/p>\n
It was so nice of them that they made some of the pizza only with vegetables for me.<\/p>\n
The pizza was delicious and I really liked the salad made with the vegetables from their garden.<\/p>\n
Before we said goodbye, we walked to their backyard and they got some beautiful fresh vegetables from their garden for us.<\/p>\n
So yesterday I decided to make a veggie plate to feature these veggies.<\/p>\n
What you see on this plate are…<\/p>\n
sauteed green beans with garlic, pea fritters, carrot leaves with sesame, maple curried carrots, olive rice in a lettuce cup, and miso glazed green peppers.<\/p>\n
This meal is as fresh as you can get.<\/p>\n
