{"id":35934,"date":"2015-06-12T23:36:49","date_gmt":"2015-06-13T03:36:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.culinarytribune.com\/?p=35934"},"modified":"2015-06-13T20:22:38","modified_gmt":"2015-06-14T00:22:38","slug":"koya-tofu-sweet-and-sour%e7%a7%81%e3%82%82%e9%ab%98%e9%87%8e%e8%b1%86%e8%85%90%e9%85%a2%e8%b1%9a%e9%a2%a8","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.culinarytribune.com\/?p=35934&lang=en","title":{"rendered":"Koya Tofu Sweet and Sour<br>\u79c1\u3082\u9ad8\u91ce\u8c46\u8150\u9162\u8c5a\u98a8"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.culinarytribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/568.jpg\" rel=\"lightbox[35934]\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-35935 aligncenter\" alt=\"568\" src=\"https:\/\/www.culinarytribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/568.jpg\" width=\"506\" height=\"717\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Koya Tofu Sweet and Sour<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I first introduced the freeze dried tofu, &#8220;koya tofu&#8221;, in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.culinarytribune.com\/?p=35850\" target=\"_blank\">this post<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Because of its unique texture and soy flavor koya tofu is a really fun food to cook with especially if you are a vegan or a vegetarian or simply interested in healthy food options.<\/p>\n<p>The koya tofu fried &#8220;chicken&#8221; was perfect whens served with a glass of beer, and this sweet and sour is perfect when served with a bowl of white rice!<\/p>\n<div id=\"recipe\">\n<strong>Koya Tofu Sweet and Sour<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>canola oil<br \/>\n2 clove garlic, chopped<br \/>\n1 onion, cut into bite size pieces<br \/>\n1 pepper, cut into bite size pieces<br \/>\n1~2 carrot, cut into bite size pieces<br \/>\n<a title=\"\uff46\" href=\"https:\/\/www.culinarytribune.com\/?p=35850\" target=\"_blank\">fried koya tofu<\/a><br \/>\n1 cup water<br \/>\n3 tablespoons sugar<br \/>\n3 tablespoons white vinegar<br \/>\n3~4 tablespoons soy sauce<br \/>\n3 tablespoon ketchup<br \/>\nsalt and pepper<br \/>\ncorn starch + water, for thickening<\/p>\n<p>1. Sautee garlic in oil.<br \/>\n2. Add vegetables and continue to sautee.<br \/>\n3. Add the fried koya tofu.<br \/>\n4. Add the rest of the ingredients, except for corn starch\/water.<br \/>\n5.
