{"id":35217,"date":"2015-04-05T21:17:51","date_gmt":"2015-04-06T01:17:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.culinarytribune.com\/?p=35217"},"modified":"2015-04-06T21:55:39","modified_gmt":"2015-04-07T01:55:39","slug":"orange-cranberry-hot-cross-buns%e3%82%aa%e3%83%ac%e3%83%b3%e3%82%b8%e3%82%af%e3%83%a9%e3%83%b3%e3%83%99%e3%83%aa%e3%83%bc%e3%83%9b%e3%83%83%e3%83%88%e3%82%af%e3%83%ad%e3%82%b9%e3%83%90%e3%83%b3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.culinarytribune.com\/?p=35217&lang=en","title":{"rendered":"Orange Cranberry Hot Cross Buns<br>\u30aa\u30ec\u30f3\u30b8\u30af\u30e9\u30f3\u30d9\u30ea\u30fc\u30db\u30c3\u30c8\u30af\u30ed\u30b9\u30d0\u30f3\u30ba"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.culinarytribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/347.jpg\" rel=\"lightbox[35217]\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-35221 aligncenter\" alt=\"347\" src=\"https:\/\/www.culinarytribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/347.jpg\" width=\"506\" height=\"717\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Orange Cranberry Hot Cross Buns<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I was supposed to bring some bread to our family Easter lunch yesterday.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>I always wanted to make hot cross buns, and I thought it would be a perfect opportunity to do so.<\/p>\n<p>They turned out absolutely wonderful!<\/p>\n<div id=\"recipe\"><strong>Orange Cranberry Hot Cross Buns<\/strong> adapted from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.foodnetwork.com\/recipes\/food-network-kitchens\/hot-cross-buns-recipe.html\" target=\"_blank\">this recipe<\/a>1\/2 cup water<br \/>\n1\/2 cup whole milk<br \/>\n1\/2 cup sugar<br \/>\n4 1\/2 teaspoons active dry yeast<br \/>\n1\/3 cup salted butter, melted, plus as needed<br \/>\n1 large egg yolk<br \/>\n1 1\/2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract<br \/>\n3 cups all-purpose flour<br \/>\n3\/4 teaspoon salt<br \/>\n1\/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon<br \/>\n1\/4 teaspoon ground ginger<br \/>\n1\/2 cup dry cranberries<br \/>\n1 egg beaten, for brushing<br \/>\nFor the icing:<br \/>\n1.5 cups confectioners&#8217; sugar, sifted<br \/>\nabout 2 tablespoons milk<br \/>\n1\/4 teaspoon finely gated orange zest<br \/>\n1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract<\/p>\n<p>1. Combine water and milk in a pan and warm over low heat until about 100 degrees F (but no more than 110 degrees). Remove from heat. Sprinkle the yeast and a pinch of sugar and flour over the liquid. Set aside without stirring until foamy for about 30 minutes.<br \/>\n2. Whisk the butter, egg yolk and vanilla into 1.<br \/>\n3. Whisk the flour, the remaining sugar, salt, and spices in a large bowl. Add the liquid to the dry ingredients. Mix with a wooden spoon to make a thick and slightly sticky dough. Stir in cranberries. Knead the dough. Shape into a ball.<br \/>\n4. Brush the inside of a bowl with butter. Place the dough in the bowl. Cover with plastic wrap. Let it rise until doubled in size.<br \/>\n5. Make 12 round rolls. Place them on a pan lined with parchment paper. Cover with buttered plastic wrap. Let it rise until doubled in size for about 45 minutes.<br \/>\n6. Preheat oven to 375F.<br \/>\n7. Remove the plastic wrap. Brush the buns with beaten egg. Bake the rolls until golden brown for about 25 minutes.<br \/>\n8. Make icing. Combine sugar, milk, orange zest, and vanilla. Mix well until smooth. Transfer the icing to a zip bag and make a small cut in the corner. Ice buns in a cross shape over the top when the buns are cool.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>\u30aa\u30ec\u30f3\u30b8\u30af\u30e9\u30f3\u30d9\u30ea\u30fc\u30db\u30c3\u30c8\u30af\u30ed\u30b9\u30d0\u30f3\u30ba<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u4eca\u65e5\u65e5\u66dc\u65e5\u306f\u30a4\u30fc\u30b9\u30bf\u30fc\uff08\u5fa9\u6d3b\u65e5\uff09\u3067\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n<p>\u30ad\u30ea\u30b9\u30c8\u6559\u306e\u795d\u65e5\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n<p>\u5bb6\u65cf\u304c\u96c6\u307e\u3063\u3066\u30d6\u30e9\u30f3\u30c1\u3084\u30e9\u30f3\u30c1\u3092\u3059\u308b\u5bb6\u5ead\u304c\u591a\u3044\u3067\u3059\u306d\uff5e\u3002\uff08\u3082\u3061\u308d\u3093\u30ad\u30ea\u30b9\u30c8\u6559\u4fe1\u8005\u306f\u6559\u4f1a\u306b\u884c\u3063\u3066\u304b\u3089\u3067\u3059\u304c\u3002\uff09<\/p>\n<p>\u3046\u3061\u3082\u6bce\u5e74\u89aa\u621a\u304c\u96c6\u307e\u3063\u3066\u3054\u98ef\u3092\u98df\u3079\u308b\u306e\u304c\u6052\u4f8b\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n<p>\u4eca\u5e74\u306f\u571f\u66dc\u65e5\u3001\u7fa9\u7236\u5b85\u306b\u62db\u5f85\u3057\u3066\u3044\u305f\u3060\u304d\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n<p>\u5927\u4eba12\u4eba\u3068\u5b50\u4f9b3\u4eba\u304c\u96c6\u307e\u308a\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3088\uff5e\u3002<\/p>\n<p>\u98df\u4e8b\u306f\u3001\u7fa9\u7236\u306e\u5965\u69d8\u304c\u4e3b\u5f79\u306e\u30cf\u30e0\u3068\u4e03\u9762\u9ce5\u3092\u7528\u610f\u3001\u305d\u3057\u3066\u3001\u5f8c\u306f\u6301\u3061\u5bc4\u308a\u3002<\/p>\n<p>\u79c1\u306f\u30d1\u30f3\u4fc2\u3002<\/p>\n<p>\u3067\u3001\u30a4\u30fc\u30b9\u30bf\u30fc\u306b\u3088\u304f\u767b\u5834\u3059\u308b\u30db\u30c3\u30c8\u30af\u30ed\u30b9\u30d0\u30f3\u30ba\u3092\u521d\u3081\u3066\u4f5c\u3063\u3066\u307f\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n<p>\u751f\u5730\u306f\u725b\u4e73\u3084\u5375\u3001\u305d\u3057\u3066\u3001\u30b7\u30ca\u30e2\u30f3\u306a\u3069\u30b9\u30d1\u30a4\u30b9\u3082\u5165\u308b\u306e\u3067\u3001\u3068\u3063\u3066\u3082\u98a8\u5473\u8c4a\u304b\u306a\u713c\u304d\u4e0a\u304c\u308a\u306b\u306a\u308a\u307e\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n<p>\u4e2d\u306b\u306f\u30ec\u30fc\u30ba\u30f3\u3084\u30ab\u30e9\u30f3\u30c4\u3092\u5165\u308c\u308b\u3053\u3068\u304c\u591a\u3044\u3088\u3046\u3067\u3059\u304c\u3001\u79c1\u306f\u4eca\u56de\u306f\u30c9\u30e9\u30a4\u30af\u30e9\u30f3\u30d9\u30ea\u30fc\u3002<\/p>\n<p>\u4e0a\u306e\u30a2\u30a4\u30b7\u30f3\u30b0\u3092\u30aa\u30ec\u30f3\u30b8\u5473\u306b\u3057\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n<p>\u3053\u306e\u30d0\u30f3\u30ba\u3001\u30c6\u30ea\u30fc\u3001\u5bb6\u65cf\u306b\u3082\u3068\u3063\u3066\u3082\u597d\u8a55\u3002\u7fa9\u59b9\u3001\u201c\u3044\u304f\u3064\u304b\u3082\u3089\u3063\u3066\u3063\u3066\u3044\u3044\uff1f\u201d
