{"id":32191,"date":"2014-06-09T22:45:44","date_gmt":"2014-06-10T02:45:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.culinarytribune.com\/?p=32191"},"modified":"2014-06-12T00:18:46","modified_gmt":"2014-06-12T04:18:46","slug":"angel-hair-pasta-with-rhubarb-and-feta%e3%83%ab%e3%83%90%e3%83%bc%e3%83%96%e3%83%91%e3%82%b9%e3%82%bf","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.culinarytribune.com\/?p=32191&lang=en","title":{"rendered":"Angel Hair Pasta with Rhubarb and Feta<br>\u30eb\u30d0\u30fc\u30d6\u30d1\u30b9\u30bf"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.culinarytribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/56.jpg\" rel=\"lightbox[32191]\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-32317 aligncenter\" alt=\"56\" src=\"https:\/\/www.culinarytribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/56.jpg\" width=\"506\" height=\"717\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Angel Hair Pasta with Rhubarb and Feta<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I still had beautiful rhubarb left I got from the Farmers&#8217; Market last weekend.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>I loved <a href=\"https:\/\/www.culinarytribune.com\/?p=32118\" target=\"_blank\">my rhubarb cinnamon rolls<\/a> I made with some of this rhubarb, but this time I wanted to make something not sweet but savory.<\/p>\n<p>I had a hard time with coming up with an idea.<\/p>\n<p>All I could think of were sweets, like pies, cakes, pancakes, cobbler&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>But then I thought maybe I could make rhubarb sauce for pasta.<\/p>\n<p>The key to this pasta is adding garlic to the sauce so that it does not feel like you are eating pasta with rhubarb jam or syrup.<\/p>\n<p>Also the saltiness and some bitterness from feta, olives, and parsley help cut the sweetness of the rhubarb and create a great balance.<\/p>\n<p>This pasta turned out to be very tasty!<\/p>\n<p>Definitely a fun way to enjoy rhubarb.<\/p>\n<div id=\"recipe\">\n<p>Angel Hair Pasta with Rhubarb and Feta (1 serving)<\/p>\n<p>olive oil<br \/>\n1 clove garlic<br \/>\n1 cup rhubarb, cut into small pieces<br \/>\n1.5 tablespoon sugar<br \/>\n80~100g angel hair pasta, freshly cooked<br \/>\n4~5 kalamata olives<br \/>\n1\/3 cup feta cheese<br \/>\nsalt and pepper<br \/>\n1 tablespoon parsley, chopped<\/p>\n<p>1. In a small sauce pan, cook garlic with olive oil for a few minutes.<br \/>\n2. Add rhubarb and sugar. Cook for another 5~10 minutes until rhubarb is tender. Use a hand blender and roughly puree the rhubarb.<br \/>\n3. Combine the rhubarb sauce, pasta, cheese, olives, and parsley. Salt and pepper.
