Buffalo Tofu Sticks<\/strong><\/p>\n

Yes! You guessed it right! This is a Buffalo chicken wing inspired dish specifically made for today’s Super Bowl! Apparently chicken wings (or Buffalo wings) are the most popular Super Bowl snack according to some TV show that was on this morning. So even though I was not planning to make anything special for tonight, that TV show kind of made me crave for the wings (or should I say the wing flavors). And this was my way to satisfy my craving without going outside to get chicken. I decided to use the fried tofu I happened to have in our fridge. The deep fried tofu basted with my special wing sauce was broiled until the corners became crunchy and browned and the sauce got caramelized. Then the tofu was coated with additional sauce and served with blue cheese dressing. I wasn’t sure how this would turn out, but I absolutely loved it! Terry and I killed them in no time!<\/p>\n

Buffalo Tofu Sticks: fried tofu pouches (cook for 1-2 minutes in the microwave oven), sauce (grape seed oil, hot sauce, worcestershire sauce, honey, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, paprika), blue cheese dressing (mayo, sour cream, lemon juice, sugar, blue cheese, worcestershire sauce, dry mustard, garlic powder)<\/p>\n
