<\/a><\/p>\nLemon Macarons<\/strong><\/p>\n Since my first attempt<\/a> to make macarons was so successful that I was excited about my second attempt. But at the same time I was afraid of my usual baking pattern where things do not turn out as well as the first time. Unfortunately my fear became real. I followed the same recipe<\/a> just as carefully as I did the first time, one third of the batch kind of collapsed when baked…<\/p>\n For my second version I wanted to make them lemon flavored. I used this recipe (cream only)<\/a> as a base and made my lemon butter cream. This cream was very good but not great. I’ll still continue to look for a better butter cream recipe for my future macarons. <\/p>\n Although I’m a bit frustrated, I’m sure I will try making macarons again. We just love them so much. We’ll see what happens to my third attempt!
