Last weekend Terry and I had Terry’s dad and his wife, Sharon over our house. It was our dinner & movie night, and we had a great time. I wanted to make something I could prepare ahead of the time so that I would not have to spend too much time in the kitchen once the guests arrived. Here is the main dish I made for that evening: wine braised beef with mushrooms. I used this recipe<\/a> as a base but I made a few changes, including using beef chuck instead of beef shanks. <\/p>\n
