Terry can’t stand the smell and I don’t blame him. The smell (and taste) is pretty strong and different and it’s not for everyone. So I make sure that the jar is tightly closed and contained in layers of plastic bags. But I love kimchi. Kimchi is originally a Korean food, but it’s very popular in Japan, and I grew up eating it regularly until I came to the US. So when Terry is out the whole day like yesterday, I like to plan a meal with kimchi. Here is my kimchi butter pasta I had for lunch. It’s very buttery and very kimchy.

Kimchi Butter Pasta: cooked pasta, butter, chopped kimchi, soy sauce, gochujang (red pepper paste), sugar, salt, soft-boiled egg

Click here for recipe information.

<img decoding="async" src=""http://www.recipe-</p" alt="" />

Kimchi Butter Pasta Lunch August 13, 2011 I like to keep a small jar of kimchi in our house, but it’s usually hidden in the very back of our fridge.
