<\/a><\/p>\nTotally Orange Allspice Cake with Brown Sugar Glaze<\/strong> When I saw the recipe, I couldn’t wait to try it. I loved the way how you cook and puree the whole orange and add the whole thing to the cake batter. I wasn’t sure about the result, but I was very happy when I had my first bite even without glaze. But with the brown sugar glaze, it was delicious!! The combination of allspice, orange, and brown sugar was fantastic!! Now I’m thinking about making totally lemon or totally grapefruit cake, as well, using the same method. I can’t wait!!<\/p>\n The recipe was from “Ripe for Dessert” by David Lebovitz.
