Almond Cream Puffs<\/strong>

Almond slices were placed on top of the puffs and baked together. I liked the nutty flavor and the crunchiness of the almond. There is actually almond inside the puffs as well. The custard cream was made with almond milk. I like soy milk and I had always wanted to try different kinds of nontraditional milk and I’m glad that I bought this almond milk I found at Trader Joe’s. This gave a nice subtle almond flavor to the cream (I did add a little bit of almond extract to make the almond flavor a little more distinctive). There are two kinds of cream, almond custard cream and heavy cream , inside.<\/p>\n
