The topic of the seminar was complementary medicines, and the lecturer talked a lot about herbs and spices as well as vitamins. It was nice to hear someone professional in the field confirming that many of my favorite food items, such as green tea, kale, blueberries, cumin, cinnamon, nuts and ginger are some of the recommended foods because they are very good for you in many ways.

This is a tofu dish I made for dinner last night. Diced tofu cooked in the microwave oven was served with ginger, shrimp and broccoli sauce. It was light and tasty, and it was very very gingery!!

Tofu with Shrimp and Broccoli Sauce: onion, ginger, shrimp, broccoli, Chinese chicken base(or clam juice or chicken base, or both), water, corn starch(for thickening sauce), sugar, salt, pepper, green onion

Tofu with Ginger Shrimp and Broccoli Dinner October 2, 2010 I attended a seminar last Friday for part of my continuing education.
