<\/a><\/p>\nMeatloaf with Hidden Vegetables<\/strong> Meatloaf is one of Terry’s favorite dishes. I’ve made a few without much success in the last five years we’ve been married. Now I’m happy to announce that I just made a meatloaf that Terry and I both loved! I took an idea from Bobby Flay’s recipe and brushed a mixture of ketchup and balsamic vinegar on top of my meatloaf, which added a great flavor and a nice crusty texture. I also sneaked in some green vegetables (zucchini and green pepper) and felt pretty good about it (knowing there were at least some vegetables on the plate). <\/p>\n My First Successful Meatloaf: ground beef (1lb), ground pork (1lb), cooked onion, garlic, zucchini, and green pepper, 2 eggs, about 2\/3cup Italian bread crumbs, dried thyme, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, glaze and sauce (ketchup and balsamic vinegar)<\/p>\n Please help us promote our blog by clicking on the following buttons.
