Sharon’s Ice Cream Cake<\/strong>

My mother-in-law, Sharon, is a great cook, and she made us this amazing ice cream cake for our recent family get-together. Hers was made with homemade vanilla ice cream and homemade chocolate fudge, but mine is a super easy version of it: H\u00e4agen-Dazs Brown sugar ice cream, and HERSHEY’S chocolate sauce. The bottom crust was made with Oreo cookies (with chocolate cream), butter, and a pinch of salt. I crushed the cookies a bit too finely; I’ll crush them more coarsely next time like Sharon did hers. The ice cream layer should be as thin as the crust. The combination of the equal parts of the crust and ice cream makes a perfect bite.<\/p>\n
