SW, or SW Craft Bar (formerly known as “Senor Wong” and this is what I still call it) is one of our go-to local restaurants.
Isn’t this sign cool?
Inside is a bit dark, but we managed to get a table right by a window.
And you get to see a light rail train passing by if you are lucky!
Terry checking out their menu.
They basically have everything, plus many Asian influenced dishes.
This was Terry’s dinner.
“el presidente burger: angus beef & mushroom patty, refried beans, chihuahua cheese, caramelized onions, roasted sweet peppers, sauteed mushrooms, mayo, crispy bacon, house-made adoba bbq sauce”.
This is his favorite thing on their menu, and this is one of his favorite burgers in town!
Check out my no-meat home-made burgers Terry likes, too, like this, this, or this.
This was what I had.
“rice noodle salad: vermicelli noodles, spring greens, bean sprouts, fresh herbs, cucumbers, scallion oil, pickled vegetables, crushed peanuts, nouc cham dressing with lemongrass tofu”.
This is my second time ordering this dish. This is so fresh and delicious. You can choose meat instead of tofu, but this lemongrass tofu is a must-try! So flavorful.
Well, last time we were here, I was very interested in their grilled baby octopus, but I was hesitant to try. This time they still had a happy hour menu, and I decided to go for it, because we could get it at the happy hour price.
The sesame seeds look like his eyes, but they are not. In case you are wondering (lol).
Their octopus was ABSOLUTELY delicious!! They were extremely tender, and the grill flavor was irresistible!
I usually do not do this, but I had to tell our server to keep this on their menu forever.
Well, he laughed, but he said they are not planning to discontinue it anytime soon.
Yeah!
