Blueberry Lemon Mojito

Mojito is probably one of my favorite mixed drinks.

I absolutely love its freshness!

This time I decided to use lemon instead of lime and added blueberries.

This is so delicious!!

I can’t handle alcohol very well (I’m not a mean drunk or anything, but I easily get drunk with a very little amount of alcohol), and I like to make my drinks at home so that I can adjust the amount of alcohol going into my glass.

My mother-in-law happened to be visiting and it was nice that we three got to enjoy this refreshing drink together.

A friend of mine just got back from her summer vacation in Japan. She said when her friend gave her two sets of these “dashi” or Japanese style soup base, she thought of me. It was so kind of her to give us a set.

Herbal Cafe Au Lait

It’s always exciting to find a new food.

And if it tastes good, that will make my day big time!

This dark roasted dandelion herbal coffee just did that a few weeks ago when Terry found it at the deli inside a co-op grocery store in Anoka.

It’s very interesting to know that herbs can create this much rich flavor when roasted.

This “coffee” tastes good as it is, but yesterday I added warm almond milk and a few spoons of cane sugar.

I crawled up on our chesterfield sofa with this and a throw and watched “House Hunters” on HGTV mindlessly (lol).

It was a great way to spend the rainy afternoon…

ハーバルコーヒー、ご存じですか？

私はほんの数週間前に初めて知りました。

コレです。

ローストダンデリオン、

つまり、ダンデリオン（たんぽぽ）をローストしたもののようです。

コーヒー豆ではないので、実際には“コーヒー”ではないのですが、

ローストされたダークなところが、コーヒー風味に似てます。

今回は、アーモンドミルクときび砂糖を加えていただきました。

週末の雨の午後、まったりとしたひと時にぴったりでした。
