Polenta Breakfast
I loved polenta for dinner so much that I made polenta again for breakfast the next day!
I know once I like something, I have a tendency to make/eat it repeatedly.
Well, I don’t think it’s a bad thing.
Like this time after one attempt I learned how thick my polenta should be!
Although the polenta is served with a soft cooked egg, this is a light dish.
But of course you can sautee the spinach if you like.
1/2 ~ 1 cup cooked polenta
1/2 cup spinach
1 soft cooked egg
1 radish, sliced and pickled in a mixture of 1 part vinegar 1 part sugar and a pinch of salt for a few minutes
green sauce
– 1/2 cup scallion, chopped
– 1 clove garlic, cooked in boiled water until cooked through
– sugar
– white vinegar
– lime juice
– salt and pepper
– water1. Make green sauce. Combine all the ingredients. Puree.
2. Place spinach, egg, and radish on polenta. Serve with the green sauce.
ポレンタで朝食
ポレンタ、気に入ってしまったので、予告通り、昨日の朝食にも登場~!
半熟卵は必須ですが、全体的には軽めな仕上がりに。
ほうれん草、ラデイッシュピクルス、そして、小ネギのソース。
先回に比べて、ポレンタはもうちょとゆるめに作りましたが、個人的にはこの方が好みだなあ、と。
