Croissant Bread Pudding

Croissant Bread Pudding

I’ve made this so many times, but every time I make it, I fall in love with it all over again.

I usually don’t care for bread pudding, and after being disappointed so many times trying bread pudding at different restaurants, I decided to stick with my favorite recipe.

The secret ingredient of this bread pudding is really not that secret.

It’s the croissant!

This buttery flaky bread takes this bread pudding to a whole new level.

I always overeat this bread pudding, so this time I quickly cut the leftover into small pieces, wrap them individually with plastic wrap, and put them in the freezer.

This will be a perfect late night dessert for the next week or so when I get craving for something sweet.

If you are interested, the recipe is here.

I used dark chocolate and Craisins instead of bittersweet chocolate and raisin.

Yummy!!! I saw this and said out loud, “Oh, wow!”. 🙂 I love bread pudding as it is (my Dad makes the best!), but croissants….oh man! I also love your beautiful plate and antique fork in the one photo.
